After the controversy with G Dragon and Flo Rida on the subject of plagiarism, with G Dragon’s Heartbreaker and Flo Rida’s Right Round. Flo Rida is set to be featured in G Dragon’s new song! This was confirmed by the President of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk.
In a statement, Yang Hyun Suk said:
“Flo-Rida, the subject of plagiarism controversies last summer, will be featured in G-Dragon’s ‘Heartbreaker’.”
“Last September, it seemed like the publishing company was going to sue YG anytime soon. However, we have yet to hear a response from the original holder of the song. We were frustrated so we contacted Flo-Rida last October, and Flo-Rida decided to feature in G-Dragon’s ‘Heartbreaker’ in November.”
“In order to avoid any further misunderstanding, we decided not to carry out with online services. The song that Flo-Rida is featured in will be released as a bonus track on G-Dragon’s live concert album coming out towards the end of March. All profits earned from future services will be donated to charities.”
From the statement by the President of YG Entertainment, it seems like the controversy of plaigiarising is finally settled and new interesting collaborations are on the way.

really looking forward to hear the final outcome of this collaboration – should be good… Great to see Sol’s breaking through so much – and rightfully so! I agree that Korean r’n'b is a lot smoother than from other east-asian countries. Then mixed with Flo-Rida will make an awesome tune I reckon.
