Spring and summer of 2010 brings full of pleasant surprises, creating inspiring new trends to design collections. There are plenty of trends out there for us to take note. The one that have caught my attention for this summer is the color WHITE. I know most of you will own at least a piece of white clothing and would wear them occasionally, sticking to one at a time. So what’s the big deal with the color white? Well… maybe it’s not much when it’s worn one or two items at a time, but this simple color creates a dramatic appearance when it’s dressed from head to toe correctly! From adolescents to adults, monochromatic colors are appropriate for all ages and almost all types of events.

Okay, before you all envisioning your local streets with deliquents in white tracksuits and oversize tee shirts, I must stress that, this season white is not the color you should avoid like the plague.  Free your mind from all the previous misconceptions about all-white being vulgar and cheap. In this summer, let’s get simple, polished and snappy with the purest color around.

The all white trend have attracted many celebrities’ attention, and they are carrying this trend with style. In the photos above, Taeyang is dressed in all-white in the simpliest way, white vest, jeans and sneakers together with a pair of snappy sunglasses. A very good choice for a hot summer’s day but may not suit all occasions and could look absolutely perverse on some. For sure Taeyang looks good in that outfit…Gave him the oppportunity to show off his magnificent body. So how about something more refined?

Wearing all-white can sometimes be a bit daunting and difficult to compliment each item. However, there are a few things you can take into consideration when putting your outfit together.

The all-white trend is about dressing yourself in ALL white from head to toe. So don’t do it by half! The odd silver and black accessories are always welcome to compliment your outfit. You may want to avoid bright contrasting colors that create flashes into the mix as it will distract and ruin the whole outlook…you may be seen like someone mixed a color sock into your white laundry.

Try not to over complicate things by adding lots of layers on. White is the cleanest and simplest of all colors so it’s best to keep to the concept of it. Too many pieces will result looking over done and could run the risk of looking odd, to the point of ghostly. Keep the halloween costumes out of sight please!

So what can we work on to make the all-white outfits looking trendy? You maybe concentrate on the detailing of one key piece. This could be a pair of shoes with perforated  (with small holes) detailing or  a top with over-sized hood or draped neck. Experiment with different detailing to see what suit you best. This will enhance the all-white look without looking too bland.

The most important thing to the all-white look is to keep all your pieces in the same shade of white. Choose one and stick to it! My personal choice is the pristine crisp white color that when reflected off the sunshine, it hurts people’s eyes. Well…maybe not to the point of hurting others. The kind of white that you see in “washing powder adverts.”

Fashion designers have have created collections of beautiful fashion and in most of their collections, the color white is used continuously. White was always in present in every fashion collections, a timeless color that is favourable to spring and summer. A color that keeps you cool under the sun in all sense.  So go ahead and give this all-white trend a go! Oh…be careful with the ketchup bottles.

SNSD/Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany and Yuri were hosting the 15th May 2010 episode of MBC Music Core Show in extremely cute outfits! The dresses that the girls chose to wear were from Marc by Marc Jacobs spring/summer 2010 ready-to-wear collection. Over-size bow hairbands (also from the same collection) were used to compliment the dresses.

The dress on Tiffany is the Marc by Marc Jacobs Blazing Star Romper in Carmine, and the one on Yuri is the Marc by Marc Jacobs Blazing Star Cotton Sundress. Both dresses are from the Spring/Summer 2010 Ready-to-Wear Collection.

The girls are looking extremely cute in the outfits and suit them incredibly well. Though, I think you’d have to be pretty brave to wear those dresses and bow hairbands on the streets. But that may show one’s confidence, breaking away from the usual jeans and t-shirts. Thumbs up from me on the oufits! What do you think?

The beautiful Gisele Bundchen gets a Call Of Duty by Vogue Korea. The Brazilian super model suited up in miltary-inspired style for the Vogue Korea May 2010 issue. Rocked in olive green and camo clothing, the Brazilian beauty shines in pieces from Balmain, Alexander Wang, Chloe and others. The miltary style seems to be ever lasting, well at least on Gisele.

The Wonder Girls have been very busy with promotions on their new album lately. They landed in Taiwan Airport last month in Superstar style. A huge crowd of Taiwanese fans welcomed the girls. The girls did not disapoint them, with each of them in different outfits, looking sexy, stylish, casual and cool. Enough to make  the fans scream, and the media to take plenty of good photos.

In this article, I’m not gonna go through all different types of sunglasses and tell you how good they are, so today I’m gonna focus on just one model! The Ray-Ban Wayfarer 2140!

Let’s find out more about the Ray-Ban Wayfarers. I’m sure most of you have come across a pair of wayfarers before, you don’t have to be a sunglasses geek to recognize this. Even your grandparents could recognise the design of them. The Ray-Ban Wayfarer was first designed in 1952 by optical designer Raymond Stegeman  and created a major break through in the industry, which set them apart from the usual metal framed eyewears. High Top Sneakers

Having a dilemma of what to wear this summer? You may be wondering what footwear will stand out for this summer.Are you sick of wearing your plimsolls? Boots  too hot for the summer? Hi top sneaks might be your answer!

You may have noticed that the combinations of bright, fluorescents clothing  and sportswear styles are playing a big part in the kpop celebs fashion scene. In this article we will look at High Top sneakers.

High top sneakers have always been around. It was initially designed for basketball players to protect ankles from injuries hence the high tops.  Then throughout the 80s/90s Micheal Jordan boosted the popularity of high top sneakers, fans and the general public wore high top sneakers as casual wears on the streets. Other basketball players’s sneakers soon followed, such as Penny Hardaway. The trend has lead to now, where the high top sneakers can look both casual and smart with unique designs.

Sometimes it can be hard to distinguish the difference between mid and high top sneaks. The more noticeable or important difference is that the top of the high top sneaks should reach above the ankles. So they are more boot-like.

As you can see from the photos of Big Bang above, the high top sneaks are demanded to be shown off. This will make a perfect combination with the current trend of shorter trousers,  rolled up jeans for the full casual look and skinny jeans tugged into the trainers. Whatever the combination you go for, just make sure you show off your high tops! The shorter trousers and rolled up hems on jeans might be more suitable for hotter weather countries, as they can let warm air in and out from your footwear, keeping your feet cool and looking cool at the same time.
